HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Chandrakant Patil P U College of Science and Commerce, was stared in the year 1999 by Shri Galangalappa Bassappa Patilji born in the most cultured family of farmers from a small village (Nippani), under Chandrakant Galangalappa Patil Memorial Public Charitable Trust catering to the needs of the students of Kalyan-Karnataka region. “Work is Workship” was the sole moto of Sri Galangalappa Bassappa Patilji, a agriculturist, renowned industrialist, philanthropist, and indeed a freedom fighter from Kalaburagi. Though deprived from education in his early childhood, he was a visionary who dreamt of educating the youth of Kalyan Karnataka Region, and had been an inspiration for infinite scholars of this region. This noble intention lead to the emergence of Chandrakant Patil PU College of Science and Commerce, which has completed 24 years of journey with an alumni of above fifteen thousand students stratified globally making positive contribution to the society. The college campus is spread in a green stretch of 16 acres of land away from the hustle of city with the state of art infrastructure, and experience faculty members. The college runs Science stream, with PCMB and PCMCs combinations integrated with NEET/IIT-JEE/K-CET and Commerce stream with EBAS and EBACs with integrated CA/CS/CLAT, it is a secured campus with round the clock CCTV Surveillance.
